totally wrong..
This setup got me place 241 in worldwide ranking, 17.276 seconds behind the WORLD RECORD. And you're seriously saying "totally wrong". Very very interesting!
Please enlighten me how to do it right, post your much better setup, please include a link to a youtube video where you show that much better time you have reached with a setup that is not so totally wrong as this one here. I am more than willing to learn from your knowledge and skills.
Although I'm not as fast as you, it was nice and stable ride. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate, glad that it helped somebody! It takes some practicing and learning the stage and certainly some driving techniques, like a short brake before the harder corners and things like that. I could make setups that would not need things like that, so you could get through the corners without using a short tip of the brake before them to shift the weight of the car to it's front and avoid understeering. BUT that would require softer differential settings, and that would make you loose a lot of time between the corners, because you would loose grip on the straight parts. So usually my setups are based on making the differential more closed to be fast enough, and require a short tip of the brake before the corners, to avoid understeering. Some people seem to have no clue about this and don't look at the time you can reach with a setup, but decide to vote it down because they are not able to handle it. Not sure how helpful this is, since the quality of a setup can be seen at the time you can reach with it - at least in my opinion. What other scale would really make any sense at the end?
Thx for the setup.
Did this setup with medium tire, not much difference. Overall great setup!
Thanks!
New to the game but i can definitly feel the huge improvement ! Thank you for the setup
