For comparison: I did TT Vehmas dry 5:40.781 (current wr 5:19.690 with Citroen C4) and TT Honkanen dry 5:01.952 (current wr 4:45.322 with Ford -08) [with wheel 720degree rotation and H-pattern+clutch]
my TT: Vehmas dry 5:40.781 run https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vP7B_XIjVM (and legit WR dry time is 5:19.690 with Citroen C4)
Thank you for the solid setup. Iv'e used it to set a WR for the Saakoski stage https://youtu.be/YbsbGGEz6q0?si=DydZc5X8koUKoz_4 Citroen C4 still faster ofc :)
PS thas some really nice driving of yours in the sim rig
This setup is outstanding good sir. This is the most fun i've had H shifting in a long time. Some of your settings I never woulda thought of. I was extremely skeptical of taking 0mm ride height at first since it seemed like a death sentence, but damn was I wrong and you were right. This setup is so good I can focus more on the more difficult things like heel toe shifting instead of worrying about over/under steer. Thank you for sharing this with us.
That 0mm ride height could mean 200mm (20cm = 8inches) ground clearance. Time trial roads are smoothest so u rarely have bottoming out issues unless driving in ditches or Kenya is quite uneven even in TT, deeper potholes there etc. For this car specifically I want to have ride height lowest possible to have best balance (older car, others nwer cars like C4, ford -08, subaru -08 are more stable to start with). Then I set spring rates and damping stuff (mathematical start+extra testing afterwards) and if expreriencing severe ground contact issues which affect drivig control too much I might try and sort out that by raising ride heights (and before that I might try also overall firmer spring rates+firmer damping stuff).
